The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spoons.
Thompson shoots for a takedown but Spoons saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spoons circles away quickly and effectively.
Thompson throws a right and a left that Spoons avoids nicely.
Spoons misses with a hook. Thompson ducked under it nicely.
Thompson scores with a one two! Spoons had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Spoons counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Spoons fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Thompson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Thompson looks to clinch but Spoons throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Thompson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
