Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nath tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Nath throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones tries to bum rush Nath with a series of wild strikes but Nath uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Nath.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nath fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nath gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Nath manages to retain guard.
Jones won't allow Nath to sweep him here.

Jones wants to control from the top but Nath keeps moving.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Nath is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nath. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jones takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Nath pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch.
Nath goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nath's guard now.

Jones wants to control from the top but Nath keeps moving.

Jones is fighting to break Nath's control of his arms but Nath is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Nath is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nath has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Jones throws a looping overhand right but Nath ducks down to avoid it.
Nath tries to clinch up.
Nath connects with a high kick.
A shot to the liver by Nath. Beautiful body shot.
Nath looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Nath misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Nath tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nath fails with the takedown.
Nath bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Nath tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Nath.

Nath gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Nath manages to retain guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones sitting in guard here, content to control.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Nath is retaining full guard.
Nath keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Nath manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nath is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nicknack Nath just wasn't active enough.
Nath changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Nath manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones looking to score a takedown here. Nath is defending well but Jones drives through and ends up in Nath's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones is stalling in the full guard.
Nath is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jones wants to control from the top but Nath keeps moving.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Nath is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by John Jones.
Jones dives in and grabs Nath's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nath pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Nicknack Nath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Jones.
Nath fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nath tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nath somewhat.

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nath manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nath circles away quickly and effectively.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nath to the mat! Nath manages to get full guard.
Nath is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.
Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Nath controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nath seems keen to control Jones's posture.
Nath keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nicknack Nath.
Nath tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nath tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nath but Nath pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Nath counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Nath shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Nath's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nath's guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Nath keeps moving.

Nath has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

John Jones has got the better of the ground game so far.

Nath shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nath gets slowly back to his feet.
Nath displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nath circles away.
Nicknack Nath is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nath fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

I would just about give that final round to John Jones.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
