Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke McKendrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lunar comes into the arena with Seperate Ways by Journey blaring out of the sound system. Luke McKendrick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Lunar lands an impressive looking overhand right. McKendrick doesn't seem phased though.
McKendrick throws a shot from downtown. Lunar moves away and avoids it.
McKendrick needs to keep his hands up - Lunar had a free shot at his head there.
Lunar swings and misses with a shot to the body
and McKendrick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McKendrick lands a high kick!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lunar checks a leg kick.
Lunar misses the shot to the body.
Lunar showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McKendrick.
Lunar stuffs the takedown.
A big right from Lunar misses.
Lucas Lunar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKendrick fails to land the takedown.

McKendrick misses the jab.
McKendrick takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lunar moves into the clinch successfully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lunar thuds his right hand into McKendrick's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lunar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McKendrick looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McKendrick looks gassed!

Lunar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lunar tries a head kick but it misses.
McKendrick keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McKendrick misses with a head kick.
Lunar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McKendrick.
McKendrick defending well as Lunar loads up on a big left hand.
McKendrick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McKendrick misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lunar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McKendrick.
Lunar moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Lunar cracks the inside of McKendrick's front leg.
McKendrick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McKendrick takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lunar lands a big head kick that sends McKendrick tumbling to the mat! Lunar takes a step backwards and waves McKendrick back to his feet - he wants the finish!
McKendrick is rocked!
Lunar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McKendrick is still on wobbly legs! Can Lunar finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lunar lunges in with a left hook that violently twists McKendrick head around and knocks him out cold! Lunar hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas Lunar!
