Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Wayne Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snake Plinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Alice in Chains-Man in the Box. John Wayne Gracie has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Wayne Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snake Plinski! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plinski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Plinski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
Plinski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Plinski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily. John Wayne Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snake Plinski. A combination from Plinski does no damage. Plinski on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
John Wayne Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie digs a good hook to Plinski's body.
Plinski misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Plinski looks gassed! A punch combination from Gracie misses. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie's corner calls for a 1-2. Gracie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gracie, as that shot connected.
Gracie tries to score with a low kick but Plinski moves his leg out of the way. Plinski shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Plinski has time to react.
Plinski is rocked! Gracie with a body punch. A glancing blow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie stuns Plinski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gracie is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Gracie misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gracie lands with an uppercut that bounces Plinski off the cage and back into rage. Plinski is still on wobbly legs! Can Gracie finish him? Gracie throws a pinpoint strike between Plinski's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Plinski crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Gracie scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Wayne Gracie!
