Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jakub Kochanowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik has chosen Stronger as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik shoots and misses
and Kochanowski counters by moving into the clinch.
Malik is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kochanowski can't fight it off and eventually Malik manages to take the fight to the floor. Kochanowski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kochanowski wants to sweep here but Malik controlling him for the moment.
Kochanowski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kochanowski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Malik slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kochanowski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Malik is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kochanowski looking for a sweep. Not yet Kochanowski, not yet.

Malik won't allow Kochanowski to sweep him here.
Malik drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Malik jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Malik has gone for a leg lock! Kochanowski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Malik's guard.
Kochanowski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kochanowski stands and throws Malik's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Malik manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Kochanowski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kochanowski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Malik has managed to free his arm - good work.
Malik flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kochanowski works his way into full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kochanowski has hold of Malik's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Malik manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kochanowski is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Malik to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Malik shrugs it off.

I really don't envy Malik right now.

Kochanowski doesn't have the hooks in and Malik manages to turn into his guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jakub Kochanowski.
Malik gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kochanowski counters with a left to the body.
Kochanowski shoots in and gets a takedown into Malik's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kochanowski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Malik circles away from the clinch attempt.
Malik tries for a takedown but Kochanowski circles away easily
letting Kochanowski counter with a right hand.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kochanowski lands with a right to the head.
Kochanowski has hold of one of Malik's legs. Malik is fighting the takedown attempt but Kochanowski gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Malik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kochanowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Malik is tightening it up a little... Kochanowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kochanowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kochanowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Malik!
