The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley tries to land a leg kick but Schimling saw it coming and moves away.
Schimling shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Schimling showed some decent athleticism there.
Schimling wants to stand up but Marley has a hold of him and won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schimling decides to return to a standing position.
Marley throws a looping overhand right but Schimling ducks down to avoid it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Marley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schimling.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Schimling, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
