Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rex Libris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesc Fabregas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabregas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: We Fly High. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Libris.
Libris scores with a nice right hand.
Horrible takedown by Fabregas or perhaps it was just good defense by Libris which made him look bad.

Fabregas closes the distance and clinches up with Libris, looking for a takedown. Fabregas pushes Libris against the cage but Libris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rex Libris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesc Fabregas.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on Libris's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Libris works the jab nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Libris, as that shot connected.
Libris misses with a hook. Fabregas ducked under it nicely.

Libris is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Fabregas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Libris's waist but Libris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fabregas off to one side.
Libris ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Fabregas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Libris to the mat! Libris manages to get full guard.
Fabregas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Libris looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Libris looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Libris!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fabregas is breathing heavily.
Fabregas tries to improve position but can't.

Fabregas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fabregas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Libris's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Libris's back!
Fabregas looking for the choke but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Libris has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Fabregas is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Libris has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Fabregas has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Libris taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Fabregas doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cesc Fabregas!
