Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Hamlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joseph Hamlton! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson misses with a double jab
and Hamlton counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wilson's knee momentarily. Hamlton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hamlton is looking to score with low kicks. Hamlton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wilson pinned against the cage. Wilson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hamlton fails to land the takedown. Chris Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Hamlton. Wilson stuffs the takedown attempt from Hamlton. Hamlton gets slowly back to his feet. Wilson swats away the attempt to clinch by Hamlton. Hamlton looks for a takedown but Wilson sprawls well.

Hamlton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilson sprawls well. Wilson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hamlton gets slowly back to his feet. Hamlton looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamlton scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hamlton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Wilson scores with a four punch combination! Wilson throws a series of punches but Hamlton avoids them all with ease. Wilson leaves Hamlton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wilson feints and then cracks Hamlton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hamlton down. Nice body kick from Wilson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson throws a right and a left that both miss. Hamlton misses with a head kick.

Hamlton is looking to clinch. Hamlton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wilson. Hamlton closes the distance and clinches. Wilson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A left and a right from Wilson both land. Nice combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamlton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! No luck with that takedown attempt from Hamlton. Hamlton is trying desperately to land a takedown but Wilson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hamlton. Hamlton attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hamlton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson throws a right hand that Hamlton ducks under and follows up with a left that Hamlton also avoids with ease. Hamlton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wilson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wilson kicks Hamlton off and gets to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamlton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wilson is fending him off so far but Hamlton persists. Nope, Wilson circles away and we're back to standing. Hamlton shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Hamlton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wilson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hamlton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wilson tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hamlton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wilson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Wilson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hamlton darts in trying to clinch and Wilson counters with a body kick that stops Hamlton in his tracks momentarily. Hamlton misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Chris Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Hamlton. Wilson throws a right hand that Hamlton ducks under and follows up with a left that Hamlton also avoids with ease. An inside leg kick lands from Wilson. Hamlton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hamlton wants to clinch up but Wilson keeps it at a distance. Chris Wilson is winning the standup battle so far. Hamlton takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Wilson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Wilson duly obliges. Wilson lands a front kick. Hamlton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hamlton has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Wilson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamlton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hamlton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wilson moves out of range of the body kick. Hamlton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wilson as he jumps to the side. Wilson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hamlton. That did some damage! This has been an exciting period of action! Wilson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Hamlton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hamlton looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wilson is avoiding damage well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson is letting Hamlton control him for a moment. Hamlton stands up. Wilson keeps the fight on the outside. No joy there for Hamlton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

And that's the end of the fight! Chris Wilson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
