Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goku Saiyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saiyen comes to the cage accompanied by Sevendust - Enemy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cole's choice of entrance music: J. Cole - Blow Up. Jermaine Cole has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole gets the takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cole tries to advance to mount but Saiyen denies him.
Saiyen trying to remain calm as Cole controls from the top position.
It looks like Cole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Cole prevents Saiyen from escaping the position.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saiyen makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Saiyen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cole swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cole throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Saiyen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cole is in Saiyen's guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jermaine Cole wasn't active enough on the ground.
Saiyen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Saiyen is looking to clinch but Cole is avoiding it.

Cole shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Saiyen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Cole is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Saiyen's half guard.

Let's hope that Cole has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Saiyen gets caught napping as Cole dives in and scores a takedown. Saiyen manages to retain guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Saiyen enables Cole to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Saiyen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cole is looking to work some ground and pound but Saiyen has wrist control.

Cole shoots in looking for a takedown. Saiyen tries to sprawl out of it but Cole keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saiyen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
