Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Connor Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bariga Marihuanich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marihuanich has chosen CANNABIS as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young throws a series of punches but Marihuanich avoids them all with ease.
Marihuanich checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Young moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Bariga Marihuanich has been cut.
Young lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marihuanich circles away quickly and effectively.
Young lands a nice looking body shot.
Young tries a head kick but it misses.
Marihuanich shoots in for a takedown but Young shows good takedown defense.
Young looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marihuanich is fending him off so far but Young persists. Nope, Marihuanich circles away and we're back to standing.
Young misses with a few strikes there.
Marihuanich clinches with his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Young is trying to stall.
Marihuanich tries for a takedown but Young manages to get underhooks.
Marihuanich has clasped his hands together around Young's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Young managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Marihuanich.
Marihuanich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Marihuanich working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Marihuanich connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Young some visible discomfort.
Marihuanich goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Young rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Marihuanich's guard! Nice work there by Young!

Marihuanich is pulling down on Young's head to control his posture.
Marihuanich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Young gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Young avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Young passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Marihuanich tries to improve position but can't.
Young is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marihuanich is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Marihuanich sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marihuanich has his hands clasped together around Young's back. He's all about the action.
Young is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Marihuanich is trying to get back to full guard.
Young tries to pass to full mount but Marihuanich defends it.
Young thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Young seems to be looking for submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marihuanich makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marihuanich.
Marihuanich is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Marihuanich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Young doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Young manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Marihuanich holds on and takes a little breather.
Young throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marihuanich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Marihuanich wants to sweep but no luck.
Marihuanich trying to control the position.
Young drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Marihuanich dives on top into guard.
Young wants to stand and escape but Marihuanich is having none of it.
Young has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Marihuanich should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Young has tightened it up now! Marihuanich should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
