Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atikkus Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Atikkus Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sonny Moore!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore swats away the attempt to clinch by Powers.
Powers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Moore.
Powers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moore moves away.
Powers slips under a jab from Moore.
Powers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Powers somewhat.
Moore misses with a combination
and Powers counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Moore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Powers.
Moore throws a sloppy body shot
and Powers counters with a stiff right hand.
Moore throws a right and a left that Powers avoids nicely.
Powers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Powers somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atikkus Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Powers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moore is fending him off so far but Powers persists. Nope, Moore circles away and we're back to standing.
Moore lands with an uppercut that bounces Powers off the cage and back into rage.
Moore leaves Powers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moore swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore gets in close and tags Powers with a short punch that almost sends Powers to the mat! Oh Powers is in big trouble! He turns his back on Moore, trying to create some distance but Moore rushes him, striking wildly and Powers goes down! The referee tackles Moore into the cage to end the fight! Moore is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sonny Moore!
