Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balonie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Balonie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Balonie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Balonie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gottlob keeps working.
Gottlob is looking for a sweep. Balonie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Balonie will probably get the nod.

Gottlob throws a solid leg kick but Balonie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gottlob .

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Balonie.
Well Balonie has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
