Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max E Pad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Peter Kiss was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max E Pad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Kiss! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pad displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kiss. Kiss throws a nice looking combination but Pad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kiss blocks a head kick by Pad.
Max E Pad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kiss takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kiss looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kiss moves out of range of the strikes. Pad throws a right and a left that Kiss avoids nicely. Pad tries to bum rush Kiss with a series of wild strikes but Kiss uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pad lands with an uppercut that bounces Kiss off the cage and back into rage. Kiss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pad is letting Kiss control him for a moment. Kiss trying to control the position but Pad is working away.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Peter Kiss was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kiss shoots in looking for a takedown but Pad manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kiss's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pad throws a series of punches but Kiss avoids them all with ease. Kiss closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiss trying to control the action but Pad is working from the bottom. Pad is trying to control but can't.
Pad is trying to get back to full guard. Kiss seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pad trying to hold on to Kiss's head to control him but Kiss postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pad swinging wildly here.

and Kiss counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pad's guard now. Kiss controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kiss trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pad's guard. Kiss looks gassed! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kiss pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pad is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pad is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pad keeping moving, preventing Kiss from controlling successfully. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pad throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Peter Kiss dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kiss fails with a takedown attempt. Kiss is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pad throws a right and a left that Kiss avoids nicely. Pad throws a right hand that Kiss ducks under and follows up with a left that Kiss also avoids with ease. Kiss shoots in but Pad avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kiss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pad manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kiss closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kiss lands in his opponent's guard. Peter Kiss has got the better of the ground game so far. Pad working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pad had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kiss defends it easily. Kiss stays in close to Pad's body and controls the position. Kiss trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kiss avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiss content to stall in guard here. Kiss trying to control but Pad is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pad wants to control but Kiss passes easily into half guard.
Kiss takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pad is pressing down on Kiss's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kiss tries to free his leg and advance position but Pad is retaining full guard. Kiss is breathing heavily. Kiss trying to control the position from guard on top but Pad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter Kiss hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Pad throws a head kick that Kiss semi-blocks.
Pad throws a big shot that misses. Pad throws an overhand right that lands on Kiss's shoulder, as Kiss tries to avoid the shot. A big left from Pad misses. Kiss is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kiss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pad tries to avoid it but Kiss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pad to the ground. Pad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Max E Pad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Kiss. Pad throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Max E Pad is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiss shoots in but Pad avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pad looks to land a combination but Kiss avoids it well. Kiss looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pad scores with a shot to the body.
Pad lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kiss backs up against the cage.

Pad paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kiss takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Kiss shoots in looking for a takedown. Pad tries to sprawl out of it but Kiss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kiss avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Max E Pad will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Kiss takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Pad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kiss moves away. Kiss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Pad misses the shot to the body. Nice straight punches there by Pad. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pad. A punch lands to the side of Kiss 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pad pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiss shoots in for a double leg but Pad sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Pad lands a high kick!
Nice shot lands for Pad. Kiss moves away from the strike by Pad. Pad scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kiss doesn't seem bothered though. Pad cracks Kiss with a good jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A control attempt from Pad but he's now mounted! Kiss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kiss trying to control but Pad is having none of it.
