The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Ampatuan which made him look bad.
Jones closes the distance but Ampatuan moves to the side
and Ampatuan counters with a left to the body.
Dan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ampatuan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ampatuan wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Andal Ampatuan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Jones.
Sloppy strikes from Ampatuan. Those never looked like landing.
Ampatuan leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ampatuan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ampatuan drops Jones with a naaaaasty hook - Jones is in real trouble here! Ampatuan dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
