Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Box Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Art Vandelay! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Box Spar! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar with a nice cross. Spar takes a swing at Vandelay's ribcage but misses. Vandelay takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A telegraphed right hand from Spar misses the target. Spar lands with a nice body punch. Sloppy strikes from Spar. Those never looked like landing. Vandelay wants to clinch. Vandelay shoots for a double leg takedown but Spar sprawls well. He's pushed Vandelay's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vandelay closes the distance and clinches up with Spar, looking for a takedown. Vandelay pushes Spar against the cage but Spar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Spar scores with a nice strike. Vandelay tries to close the distance and clinch but Spar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Spar closes the distance and clinches. Vandelay tries for a takedown but Spar manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Art Vandelay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vandelays head. Spar lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A shot in the inside from Spar. Vandelay with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Vandelay tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Spar just stands there and leans against the cage. Vandelay takes a shot to the head. Spar lands with a short head shot on the inside. Spar scores with a hook to the body. Vandelay is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vandelay being controlled against the cage. Vandelay wants the takedown. Spar is fighting it off but Vandelay persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Spar's guard against the cage. Spar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vandelayis looking to pass into half guard but Spar pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Spar is in guard. Vandelay has a closed guard, preventing Spar from standing up. Spar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vandelay looking for a guillotine here but Spar defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Spar wants to control from the top but Vandelay keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Box Spar was stalling too much, according to the referee. Spar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vandelay shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Art Vandelay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vandelay tries to clinch up but Spar circles away and keeps his distance. Vandelay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spar tries to avoid it but Vandelay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spar to the ground. Spar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vandelay tries to clinch but Spar is having none of it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vandelay on the wrong end of a nice jab. Vandelay looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spar is fending him off so far but Vandelay persists. Nope, Spar circles away and we're back to standing. Spar instigates a clinch. Spar is working Vandelay over against the cage. Spar scores with a shoulder strike. Spar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Vandelay backwards. Spar lands a shot to the body. Spar cracks Vandelay with a nice body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice right hand lands inside from Spar. Spar digs a right hand into Vandelay's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Vandelay's gas tank. Spar lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Spar lands a body punch. Spar softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Spar lands a shoulder strike. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Vandelay as Spar tries to tie him up. Vandelay jumps guard but Spar stands there with Vandelay around his waist. Vandelay gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Spar. Spar pressing his opponent against the cage. Vandelay takes a shot to the head. Spar blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A short body shot lands from Spar as the two fighters clinch.
Spar is working Vandelay over against the cage. Spar works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The referee is keeping an eye on Spar - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spar lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Vandelay. Spar lands a shot to the body. Spar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vandelay backwards. Spar lands with a right to the head. Spar stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Spar scores with a shot to the side of Vandelay's head. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Vandelay looking for a takedown. Spar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Spar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vandelay backwards. Spar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vandelays head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Vandelay or not. Spar stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Spar lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Vandelay. A left hand lands to the body for Spar.
Spar lands a shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Box Spar dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Good standup being displayed there by Spar as he connects with a hook. Spar throws out a powerful jab. Spar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Spar moves into range and clinches up with Vandelay. A body shot lands from Spar.

Spar scores with a sloppy right hand. Vandelay should have avoided that one.
Vandelay is rocked! Vandelay gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Spar points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Vandelay wakes up just in time to hear Spar thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Box Spar! Box Spar is the new super heavyweight champion!
