Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Goods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Fury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goods but Goods pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice takedown defense from Goods. No joy for Fury on that attempt.
Goods throws a nice looking combination but Fury bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fury fails with the takedown.
Lamar Goods has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Fury.

Fury closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Goods to the mat! Goods manages to get full guard.
Fury looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
I looks like Fury might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tyson Fury just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fury shoots in and drives through. Goods sprawls well.
Fury changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goods tries to avoid it but Fury manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goods to the ground. Goods escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fury looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goods is fending him off so far but Fury persists. Nope, Goods circles away and we're back to standing.

Fury should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fury throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goods's waist but Goods gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fury off to one side.

Goods tries to roll over but Fury keeps him under control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fury perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Goods is looking for a sweep. Fury is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fury throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Goods is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fury is controlling the pace.
Fury is looking to take a break and control but Goods is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Goods is looking to control Fury's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Goods avoid being mounted?

Goods dips to his left and cracks Fury with an uppercut!
Fury is still on wobbly legs! Can Goods finish him?
A punch lands to the side of Fury 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Goods is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Goods lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Fury working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fury wants to pass the guard but Goods is keeping the position.
Fury wants to control from the top but Goods keeps moving.
Fury seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fury not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lamar Goods.
I think Goods has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
