Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Loras Tyrell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Enos Erikson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyrell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyrell lands a nice hook to Erikson's body. Erikson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Erikson ducks right into an uppercut from Tyrell. Tyrell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tyrell misses with a looping left. Erikson shoots for a takedown but Tyrell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A jab from Tyrell finds it's way through Erikson's defenses. Tyrell misses the shot to the body. Erikson shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyrell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Erikson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tyrell sizes up Erikson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tyrell throws a shot from downtown. Erikson moves away and avoids it. Tyrell stuffs the takedown attempt from Erikson. Erikson gets slowly back to his feet. Loras Tyrell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Enos Erikson. Excellent takedown into side control there by Erikson.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Erikson swings around for an armbar but Tyrell sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Erikson's guard. Erikson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Erikson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tyrell pulls his head out easily. Erikson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Erikson tries to roll over but Tyrell keeps him under control. Erikson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tyrell's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tyrell's back! Erikson is looking to control Tyrell but Tyrell is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erikson looking for the RNC. Erikson is persistently looking for the submission but Tyrell is defending it well.
Erikson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tyrell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Enos Erikson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Tyrell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Erikson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tyrell throws a big shot that misses. Erikson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A decent looking cross lands there for Tyrell. Erikson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Tyrell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Erikson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Tyrell connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Erikson's hands. Erikson defending well as Tyrell loads up on a big left hand.

Tyrell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Erikson was well out of range. Poor timing from Tyrell. Tyrell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tyrell scores with a body shot.
Tyrell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Erikson manages to avoid it. Tyrell dips to his left and cracks Erikson with an uppercut! Tyrell throws out a loose jab but Erikson uses good head movement to avoid it. Erikson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nice uppercut there from Tyrell. Tyrell tests Erikson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Erikson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Tyrell. Tyrell looks to score with a jab to the body but Erikson is just out of range. Tyrell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Erikson. Tyrell connects with the punch. Loras Tyrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Erikson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Erikson drops his hands momentarily and Tyrell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tyrell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tyrell misses with a looping right. Tyrell looks to score with a jab to the body but Erikson is just out of range. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tyrell enables Erikson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tyrell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Erikson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erikson looking to pass the guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Erikson trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyrell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Erikson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyrell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Erikson, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyrell pushing down on Erikson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Erikson is trying to control but Tyrell passes into side control!
Erikson is looking for a sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Erikson is trying to work for a sweep but Tyrell has mounted him! Erikson tries to lock up and control but Tyrell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erikson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tyrell throws a big shot that misses. Tyrell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A lazy left from Tyrell finds it's target. Tyrell bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Erikson's head. Erikson moves forwards but Tyrell connects with a nice, crisp jab. Erikson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tyrell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Tyrell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Erikson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Erikson is trying to strike from the bottom but Tyrell has passed into full mount. Enos Erikson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Erikson tries to improve his position but instead Tyrell has taken his back!
