Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Colby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Crawley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Colby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Crawley! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawley blocks a head kick by Colby.
Darren Colby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Colby fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Colby misses with a head kick.
Crawley avoids the head kick by Colby.
Colby throws a right hand that misses
and Crawley makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Crawley staying out of range there. Colby takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Colby misses with a looping right. Colby dodges the punch combination from Crawley.
Crawley throws a head kick that half lands.
Crawley has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Colby misses with a right hand and Crawley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Colby thinking. Colby fails to land with a series of punches.

Colby swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colby closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Crawley did well to prevent Colby getting side control. Colby stands up out of the half guard. Crawley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crawley pivots, looking for a leg kick but Colby is out of range and Crawley settles back down. Colby looks to land a combination but Crawley avoids it well. Colby throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Colby bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Colby has managed to clinch.
Colby wants to break the clinch but can't.
Colby keeps control of Crawley as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Crawley pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colby wants to break free but Crawley has control.
Colby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Colby lands with an overhand left. The fight moves into the clinch position. Crawley can't find room to land a body shot as Colby controls the action.
Crawley has Colby pressed against the cage, preventing Colby from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Colby prevents Crawley from breaking the clinch. Colby is trying to break the clinch but Crawley is controlling him. Colby has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Colby looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Colby breaks from the clinch.
Colby lands with a cross. Colby lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Crawley can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Colby and Crawley drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Colby.
