Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Pak! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pak closes the distance looking to clinch and Coleman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pak wants to stand up but Coleman is controlling him. Coleman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pak wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Coleman landing some decent shots from guard. Pak is looking to stand up but Coleman isn't so interested in that idea. Coleman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Coleman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pak can't keep his opponent in guard - Coleman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Coleman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Coleman drops an elbow to the side of Pak's head. Pak wants to get back to his feet. Coleman is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mark Coleman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Pak tries to clinch up. Pak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Mark Coleman has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pak tries to clinch but Coleman is having none of it. Coleman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coleman lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Coleman there. Coleman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Coleman working Pak over with strikes. Pak looks like he's trying to stand up.
Coleman content to control rather than advance. Coleman prevents Pak from standing back up.
Coleman controlling the pace. Pak pushes Coleman off and gets back to his feet. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Coleman misses with a wild body shot. Pak tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pak throws a sloppy head kick and Coleman moves out of range easily. Pak looks gassed! Pak tries to clinch but Coleman moves out of range. A slow jab from Coleman misses its intended target. Pak tries to clinch but Coleman moves away and Coleman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pak wants to stand and escape but Coleman is having none of it. Coleman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Coleman stands up over Pak, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pak wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Coleman with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Pak has momentary wrist control but Coleman slips an elbow through the middle. Coleman controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Pak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coleman landing with the ground and pound. Coleman stays in close to Pak's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Coleman dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Coleman's cut. That's time! Coleman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pak is looking to clinch but Coleman is avoiding it.
Pak doesn't manage to clinch there - Coleman circles away.
Coleman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pak did well to prevent Coleman getting side control. Ground and pound from Coleman. Pak wants to get back to his feet.
Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Coleman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Coleman prevents Pak from standing back up.
Coleman performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Coleman landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pak is trying to stand.
Coleman is controlling the pace.
Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pak is trying to stand back up but Coleman is controlling him
Coleman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Still in half guard, Coleman seems content to control. Pak is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Coleman scores with a couple of nice shots. Coleman stalling. Coleman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Coleman is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Pak is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coleman uses his free foot to push down on Pak's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pak. Pak is still in real trouble! Can Coleman finish him? Coleman looking to control and managing it successfully. Coleman postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Pak is out cold - huge knockout for Coleman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mark Coleman!
