Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tsuda Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altropos Takota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsuda Suzuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Altropos Takota! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takota throws a hook but Suzuki blocks it. Takota tries to clinch there but Suzuki circles away.
Suzuki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takota tries to avoid it but Suzuki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takota to the ground. Takota escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Suzuki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Takota throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Takota doesn't manage to clinch there - Suzuki circles away.
Takota throws the left hand but Suzuki avoids the punch easily. Takota tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Suzuki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Takota darts in and clinches Suzuki up against the cage. Suzuki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Takota walks away with a smile on his face. Suzuki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Takota wants to clinch. Takota moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Takota has him pressed against the cage. Takota blocking some punches.
Suzuki fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsuda Suzuki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Suzuki tries to circle away but Takota has him pinned against the cage. Takota pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Takota moves into range and clinches up with Suzuki. Suzuki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Takota smiles and moves away.
A punch lands to the side of Suzuki 's head but he takes it in his stride. Takota moves into the clinch. Suzuki wants to break free but Takota has control.
Takota manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Suzuki. Suzuki fails to land with a series of punches.
Takota misses with the combination.
Sloppy strikes from Suzuki. Those never looked like landing. Takota closes the distance and clinches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A hook to the body from Takota.
Takota has Suzuki pressed against the cage, preventing Suzuki from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Takota breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Takota misses with a straight left. Takota tries to close the distance and clinch but Suzuki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Takota looks to score with a jab to the body but Suzuki is just out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takota throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Suzuki counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The fighters circling - Takota throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Takota thows a body shot but no joy. Takota gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Suzuki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Takota is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Takota landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Suzuki is looking to break free of the clinch but Takota has double underhooks. Suzuki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Takota gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Suzuki manages to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Suzuki throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Takota is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suzuki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Suzuki throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Suzuki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Takota defends it easily. Takota postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Takota really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Suzuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Takota would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Suzuki working for a triangle but Takota defends it easily.

A close round but Altropos Takota will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Suzuki misses the shot to the body. Takota gets in close and instigates a clinch. Suzuki tries to circle away but Takota has him pinned against the cage. Suzuki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Takota has him pressed against the cage. Takota is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Takota lands on the inside with an uppercut. Takota gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Suzuki.
Takota breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Takota clobbers Suzuki with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Altropos Takota seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takota moves into the clinch. Suzuki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Suzuki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Takota controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Suzuki wants to sweep but no luck. Takota decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Takota tries to clinch there but Suzuki circles away.
Takota gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A right handed body shot lands from Takota.
A frustrated look appears on Suzuki's face as he tries to break the clinch. Suzuki tries to circle away but Takota has him pinned against the cage. Suzuki managing to block the knees to the body from Takota.
Suzuki is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suzuki has had enough of the clinch but Takota keeps him there for the moment. A short right from Takota. Takota lands a body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Suzuki fails to pull guard.
Altropos Takota seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Takota scores with an uppercut up the middle. Takota escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Tsuda Suzuki has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takota drives through and clinches with Suzuki against the cage.

Takota is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Takota is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Suzuki is defending well for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Altropos Takota showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tsuda Suzuki's cut. That's the end of the round. Horrible takedown by Suzuki or perhaps it was just good defense by Takota which made him look bad. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Takota tries to close the distance and clinch up but Suzuki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takota has closed the distance and engaged Suzuki in a clinch.
Suzuki is trying to force a seperation but Takota has the dominant position. A body shot lands from Takota.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Takota's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Takota pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Takota has Suzuki up against the cage in a clinch.
Suzuki being controlled against the cage. Tsuda Suzuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Takota lands with a short head shot on the inside. Altropos Takota is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Suzuki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

And that's the end of the fight! Altropos Takota comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Takota winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
