Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Susumo Komota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshiko Mizuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshiko Mizuki acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshiko Mizuki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komota fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mizuki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Komota.
Komota closes the distance and clinches up with Mizuki, looking for a takedown. Komota pushes Mizuki against the cage but Mizuki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Komota is defended easily by Mizuki.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Susumo Komota. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mizuki doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Komota counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Komota.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mizuki wants to sweep here but Komota controlling him for the moment.
Komota postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Komota trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Komota has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mizuki trying to keep a closed guard but Komota is proving a slippery customer.
Komota keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mizuki's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mizuki pulls Komota in close to his closed guard and prevents Komota from doing any damage or advancing position.
Komota with a flurry of punches that miss.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Komota postures up in Mizuki's guard and throws a big left but Mizuki blocks it.

Komota is working Mizuki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Komota wants to pass the guard but Mizuki is keeping the position.

Komota drops back looking for a leg! Mizuki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mizuki manages to kick Komota off! Komota jumps back into Mizuki's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mizuki not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Komota sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mizuki's guard.
Mizuki is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Komota lands a nice short elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mizuki is defending against the submission attempts here by Komota.

Komota is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mizuki is just riding it out for now. Komota eventually gives up the hold.

Komota is looking for a kimura but Mizuki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Komota to get the leverage.
Mizuki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Komota is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Komota seems to be working for a kimura but Mizuki defends the submission attempt.

Komota has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mizuki defend it? Komota steps over the head and cranks it - Mizuki is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Komota!
