The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz moves in looking to clinch but Beastman pushes him off.
Ruiz displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like The Beastman has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beastman. Ruiz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ruiz is looking to land body kicks.
The Beastman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beastman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ruiz tries to avoid it but Beastman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ruiz to the ground. Ruiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beastman misses with a series of wild punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beastman. Ruiz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ruiz connects with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ruiz lands with a nice combination. Beastman backs away looking to recover.
Beastman is breathing heavily.
Ruiz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ruiz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Beastman under the eye.
Beastman is rocked!
The Beastman's cut is getting worse.
Ruiz throws a sloppy head kick and Beastman moves out of range easily.
Ruiz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
