The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gump tries to bum rush Jeetjutsu with a series of wild strikes but Jeetjutsu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bubba Gump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gump lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gump.
Gump looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jeetjutsu is fending him off so far but Gump persists. Nope, Jeetjutsu circles away and we're back to standing.

Gump has picked Jeetjutsu up - he's going for a ride! Gump dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thiago Jeetjutsu.
Well Gump has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
