Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luisito Pallagud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Lil wayne - How to Love. Luisito Pallagud will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pallagud stuffs the takedown.

Pallagud shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pallagud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Pallagud's legs - danger averted.

Pallagud tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pallagud somewhat.
Gracie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pallagud changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Pallagud manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Gracie lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie looking to break Pallagud's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pallagud remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gracie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall.
