PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Beefheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen Walkie Talkie - DJ Shadow as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefheart connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Carter momentarily.

Carter tightens his grip and picks Beefheart up, before dumping him to the ground. Beefheart manages to land in guard.

Carter is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Beefheart can't fight it off and eventually Carter manages to take the fight to the floor. Beefheart looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Carter ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Carter no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
