Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Damato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Augello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Damato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Augello! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damato looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Augello throws a hook but Damato avoids it easily. Damato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Augello lands a head shot. Damato tries to land a front kick but Augello steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Augello throws a right and a left that Damato avoids nicely. Augello throws a body punch but Damato moves out of range. Damato throws a leg kick but Augello sees it coming and checks it nicely. Damato slips a straight right by Augello. Damato avoids the body shot from Augello.
Damato throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Good standup being displayed there by Damato as he connects with a hook. Augello jabbing away but nothing is landing. Augello will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damato throws a shot from downtown. Augello moves away and avoids it. A slow jab from Damato misses its intended target. A swing and a miss from Augello. Augello moves out of range of the leg kick from Damato. Damato wants to slow Augello down by chopping away at his legs. Damato throws a one two combo.
Augello takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Augello throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Damato. Damato goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Damato throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Augello fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Damato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Augello uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Some wild striking there from Augello.
Damato connects with a leg kick. Augello looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Damato tests Augello's chin there with a solid looking shot. Damato misses with a low kick.

Damato throws a hook but Augello avoids it easily. Augello throws a hook to the side of Damato's head but Damato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Augello tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damato thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Augello if he has to take too many more of those.
Augello misses the shot to the body. Damato jabs at Augello's body. Augello looks gassed! Damato lands a big head kick that sends Augello tumbling to the mat! Damato takes a step backwards and waves Augello back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like James Augello has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Augello moves out of range of the body kick from Damato.
Augello waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Damato. That kick from Damato tenderised Augello's leg. Augello is trying to keep his angry face on. Augello throws a lazy uppercut
and Damato counters with a nice low kick that buckles Augello's knee momentarily. Damato buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Damato.
Damato thows a body kick. Augello tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Augello crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Damato - the referee stops the clock and Augello gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Damato. Augello manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Augello sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Damato lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A slapping leg kick lands for Damato.

Damato connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Damato lands with a thumping leg kick.
Damato moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Damato throws a leg kick which misses Augello's front leg but catches the back leg as Augello tries to avoid it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Augello gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pete Damato!
