Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hara Kiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Veder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Veder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hara Kiri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eddie Veder! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kiri looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kiri is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Veder is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kiri defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiri tries to free his leg and advance position but Veder is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kiri is working Veder over from the guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Veder wants to improve his position but Kiri is controlling well.
Veder moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kiri works over Veder with some ground and pound from guard. Kiri working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Veder's head. Veder has momentary wrist control but Kiri slips an elbow through the middle. Veder looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Veder has his foot on Kiri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kiri works his way back into a safe position though. Kiri is working Veder over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kiri has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kiri working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kiri is looking to work some ground and pound but Veder has wrist control. Kiri throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Veder works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kiri avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Veder looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kiri's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Kiri chips away with some ground and pound. Kiri lands a couple of decent looking shots. Veder keeping full guard, as Kiri tries to pass. Veder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kiri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kiri postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Veder has his feet on Kiri's thighs here. He's pushed Kiri off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kiri screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
