Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Mc Auley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Christie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mc Auley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to August Burns Red - The Eleventh hour. Malcolm Christie looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Malcolm Christie!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc Auley is looking to clinch but Christie is avoiding it.
Mc Auley shoots in but Christie avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Christie throws the kick towards the body but Mc Auley avoids it.
Mc Auley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Christie's waist but Christie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mc Auley off to one side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Christie counters with a big head kick but Mc Auley shrugs it off.

Christie throws a push kick but Mc Auley slaps the foot to one side.

and Christie counters with a good low kick that Mc Auley was not able to check.

and Christie counters with a solid body kick.

and Christie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Christie has Mc Auley pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Christie pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mc Auley tumbling to the mat - Christie dives into Mc Auley's guard.

and Christie counters with a head kick.

Mc Auley shoots in and bounces Christie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Christie manages to break the clinch.
Mc Auley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Christie counters with a head kick. That will keep Mc Auley thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Christie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Christie darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A good leg kick by Mc Auley.

Christie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brian Mc Auley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mc Auley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Christie tries to avoid it but Mc Auley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Christie to the ground. Christie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Christie is looking to land body kicks.
Mc Auley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Christie pinned against the cage. Christie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Mc Auley counters with a single leg into guard. Christie didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Christie pushes Mc Auley off and gets back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian Mc Auley will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Mc Auley looking to isolate an arm here. Christie doesn't see it coming and as Mc Auley extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mc Auley!
