The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimmo throws a head kick but Shanks moves out of range.
Shanks checks a leg kick.
Shanks moves in looking to clinch but Kimmo pushes him off.
Shanks misses with a wild body shot.
Shanks scores with a decent looking hook.
Kimmo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shanks counters with a left to the body.
Kimmo tries to land a front kick but Shanks steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shanks misses with a body shot.
Shanks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kimmo.
Shanks scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kimmo is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kimmo throws a combination that misses
and Shanks counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
