Bagwell comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Not Afraid. Skye has chosen Never Gonna Stop - Rob Zombie as his entrance music. Damion Skye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damion Skye!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagwell fails with the takedown.

Bagwell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bagwell throws a right hand that misses
and Skye counters with a stiff right hand.
Skye walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bagwell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Skye staying out of range there.
Nice defenses there by Skye.
Skye displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bagwell.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buff Bagwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bagwell closes the distance and clinches up with Skye, looking for a takedown. Bagwell pushes Skye against the cage but Skye circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Skye tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bagwell was well out of range. Poor timing from Skye.

Buff Bagwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skye works Bagwell's body with a nice hook.

Bagwell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Skye as he avoids it easily.
Bagwell fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Skye thuds his right hand into Bagwell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Skye scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Skye lands the left hand.
Skye keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bagwell throws a looping overhand right but Skye ducks down to avoid it.
Bagwell connects with a right hand. Skye shakes it off.
Bagwell blocks a jab.
Bagwell takes one to the side of the head.
Skye looks to land a left hand but Bagwell moved out of range nicely.
Bagwell throws a lazy uppercut
and Skye counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bagwell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Skye counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bagwell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Skye.
Bagwell walks into a jab.
Bagwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Skye but Skye pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bagwell moves forwards but Skye connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Skye swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bagwell is defended easily by Skye.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Skye uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bagwell.
Bagwell tries for a takedown but Skye sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Skye as Bagwell shoots in.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damion Skye dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Skye lunges at Bagwell with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bagwell's hand.
Bagwell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skye.
Bagwell misses with a straight left.
Bagwell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Skye.
Bagwell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Skye sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bagwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skye.
Skye defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bagwell.
Skye lands with an overhand left.


Bagwell is rocked!

Skye drives through and clinches with Bagwell against the cage.
Oh Bagwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Skye lands a nice uppercut.
Bagwell is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Skye is keeping busy.
Skye dips a shoulder and cracks Bagwell with a mighty uppercut! Bagwell falls back against the cage and Skye unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bagwell is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Skye screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damion Skye!

Our winner, Damion Skye, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
