Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Murtagh Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kota Punga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawke comes to the cage accompanied by Sleep Now In The Fire. Kota Punga will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punga scores with a one two! Hawke had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Punga lands a leg kick that knocks Hawke off balance momentarily.
Hawke looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Punga tries to roll over but Hawke keeps him under control.
Hawke wants to take a breather but Punga is having none of it.
Hawke thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Punga's head.
Punga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Punga is looking to control Hawke's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Punga avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawke working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hawke takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hawke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Punga on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Punga moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hawke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Punga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hawke has managed to get both his arms back between Punga's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Punga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hawke's guard.
Hawke is trying to control the position but Punga postures up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Punga accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Punga drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hawke looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hawke looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hawke!

Hawke can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Punga is looking to escape.

Punga tries to hold on but Hawke postures up.
Hawke lands a big shot there that rocks Punga but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Punga is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hawke has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Punga's face.
Punga is rocked!
Hawke prevents Punga from getting the reversal.
Punga is still in real trouble! Can Hawke finish him?
Punga takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Hawke! Punga is out cold! This one is all over!
