Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gein is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dead Skin Mask. Ed Gein has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pepe LePew's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pepe LePew!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ed Gein!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gein throws the left hand but LePew avoids the punch easily.

Gein closes the distance and pushes LePew back into the cage.
LePew fails to pull guard.
Gein cracks LePew with a nice body shot.
Gein gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Pepe LePew has been cut.
LePew tries to pull guard but Gein holds him up against the cage and eventually LePew drops back down to his feet.

Gein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gein lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gein.
A jab from Gein finds it's way through LePew's defenses.
Gein lands a nice looking kick to the body. LePew takes a step back to recover.
LePew moves in looking to clinch but Gein pushes him off.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gein turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
LePew takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gein looks to land a body kick but LePew moved away.
Gein defends well against a solid takedown attempt from LePew.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pepe LePew. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Good work by LePew as he checks the leg kick.
LePew shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gein as he avoids it easily.
LePew misses with a takedown attempt - Gein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gein walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. LePew checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gein displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from LePew.

and LePew counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gein won't be happy with that.
Gein is trying to improve his position.

LePew fails to land a wild elbow strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
LePew working away.
Gein is looking for a sweep.
LePew tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gein wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
LePew tries to move to mount but Gein blocks the move with his legs.
LePew misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gein tries to buck LePew off but LePew is having none of it.
Gein stops LePew from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LePew thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

LePew is trying to get an arm triangle but Gein is defending well.
Gein tries to improve position but can't.
Gein avoids any damage from the ground and pound of LePew.
LePew wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gein keeps working.
Gein is trying to control LePew's posture but LePew avoids it.
Gein is trying to get back to half guard.
Gein struggling a bit here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gein is looking for a sweep.

LePew tries for a kimura but Gein is defending well.
LePew fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Gein regains half guard.
LePew throwing shots but Gein is blocking nicely.
LePew has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
LePew is looking to advance position but Gein won't allow it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LePew is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ed Gein will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Pepe LePew's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but LePew was well out of range. Poor timing from Gein.
Gein is looking to slow LePew down with leg kicks.
A good leg kick by Gein.
Gein fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Gein throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gein leaves LePew with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
LePew looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gein is fending him off so far but LePew persists. Nope, Gein circles away and we're back to standing.
LePew misses with a leg kick
and Gein cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gein connects with a leg kick. LePew looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
LePew has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pepe LePew. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gein feints and then cracks LePew's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow LePew down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
LePew takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gein throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent LePew stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A head kick from Gein lands but LePew takes it in his stride.
Gein connects with a looping right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

LePew is rocked!
Gein lands a really nice looking cross but LePew seems unphased.
Oh LePew is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A decent looking cross lands there for Gein.
LePew needs to keep his hands up - Gein had a free shot at his head there.
Gein fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gein buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
LePew is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
LePew on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gein. Gein obviously looking to wear him down.
Ed Gein seems to be getting the better of the standup.
LePew moves forwards but Gein connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gein throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fighters circle, before Gein throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into LePew's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gein lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Ed Gein!
Ed Gein is the new lightweight champion!
Our winner, Ed Gein, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
