Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matrix kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Machado.
Nice shot lands for Machado.
Matrix scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Machado throws a lazy uppercut
and Matrix counters with a crisp right hand that drops Machado! Matrix lets Machado back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Machado is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matrix lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Machado up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Matrix from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Machado's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dutch Matrix!
An out of breath Dutch Matrix thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
