Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buff Dickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickens comes to the cage accompanied by You're The Best Around . Douglas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rocky's Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brian Douglas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickens swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Douglas counters with a left and a right that stings Dickens.
Douglas looks to land a body kick but Dickens moved away.
Dickens fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dickens connects with a nice short shot to Douglas's temple.

Dickens looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Douglas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dickens seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Dickens lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dickens is thwarting Douglas's attempts to control the position.
