Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knut Beissner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Shuler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beissner comes to the cage accompanied by Bas Rutten - El Guapo likes to dance. Will Shuler acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knut Beissner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Will Shuler! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beissner scores with a body shot.
Beissner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Beissner keeps the fight on the outside. Beissner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Shuler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beissner pinned against the cage. Beissner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Will Shuler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shuler on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Beissner, right into the meat.
Shuler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Shuler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Beissner blocks a head kick by Shuler.
Beissner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shuler momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Horrible takedown by Shuler or perhaps it was just good defense by Beissner which made him look bad. Beissner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shuler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beissner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shuler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Shuler looks gassed! Beissner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shuler. Shuler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Knut Beissner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Shuler. Beissner lands a jab to the nose. Beissner connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Beissner jabs at Shuler's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Beissner works over Shuler's head and body with a nice combination. Knut Beissner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Shuler takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice uppercut there from Beissner. Shuler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beissner. Shuler takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Beissner throws a combination. Shuler tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Shuler is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shuler takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Shuler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Shuler on the wrong end of a nice hook. Beissner shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shuler eats them both and turns towards Beissner to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Beissner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Beissner throws a left that rocks Shuler and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Beissner dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Shuler regain composure!
Shuler is still in real trouble! Can Beissner finish him? Beissner throws an elbow but Shuler slips to the side and avoids it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beissner connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Shuler some visible discomfort.
Shuler seems to have recovered his senses. Beissner controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shuler can't do much from the bottom here. Beissner taking a breather here. Shuler prevents Beissner from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shuler wants to control but Beissner postures up. Shuler gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Beissner looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Knut Beissner dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Beissner connects with a body shot. Shuler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Shuler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Beissner sees it coming and defends easily. Beissner is pressing down on Shuler's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Beissner on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beissner tries to get out of the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Beissner holds on and takes a little breather. Shuler tries to stand but Beissner is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beissner has Shuler pulled in close to control his posture. Beissner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shuler manages to get himself to full guard.
Beissner tries to free his leg and advance position but Shuler is retaining full guard. Beissner throws and elbow that misses. Shuler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Beissner's guard. Nice move by Shuler! Beissner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shuler is one step ahead there. Shuler forces his way into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Beissner manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shuler postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Beissner is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shuler, into his guard. Beissner showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Shuler is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beissner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Beissner controlling from side mount. Beissner working the ground and pound. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Shuler dodges the ground and pound from Beissner.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beissner fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Beissner just content to control the position. Beissner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shuler can do to turn this around? Knut Beissner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beissner has knee on belly and moves into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Knut Beissner dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Beissner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Beissner bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Beissner swinging wildly here.
Shuler avoids the head kick by Beissner.
Beissner lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Shuler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shuler tries to clinch there but Beissner circles away.
Beissner is looking to wear down Shuler with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Shuler fails with an attempt to clinch.

Beissner takes a swing at Shuler's ribcage but misses. A good leg kick by Beissner.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beissner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shuler moves away. Shuler wants to clinch up but Beissner keeps it at a distance. Beissner lands a right hook to the body.
Shuler tries to clinch but fails miserably and Beissner makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Shuler tries to clinch but Beissner is having none of it. Beissner connects with an inside leg kick. Shuler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Beissner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shuler circles away quickly and effectively. Beissner scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Beissner's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Beissner duly obliges. Shuler tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Beissner counters with a stiff right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shuler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shuler fails to land the takedown. Beissner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Beissner throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Shuler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Beissner throws a nice inside leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Beissner. Those never looked like landing. Knut Beissner is winning the standup battle so far. Beissner darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Beissner connects with the punch. Beissner looks to land a combination. Shuler sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Beissner feints a jab promting Shuler to slip. Beissner then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shuler slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Beissner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Knut Beissner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Beissner. Beautiful body shot. Shuler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Beissner finds it's way round the side to connect with Shuler's head. Shuler walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Shuler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Good standup being displayed there by Beissner as he connects with a hook. Shuler gets in close and instigates a clinch. Beissner avoids the elbow strike from Shuler, against the cage.
Shuler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Beissner.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Beissner looking for a takedown. Beissner tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Beissner throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shuler looking to slow down the pace here. Shuler has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Beissner throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Shuler blocks it with crossed arms. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shuler tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Will Shuler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Knut Beissner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Shuler. Beissner with an attempt at a knee that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Knut Beissner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Beissner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
