Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nutmeg is looking to clinch. Nutmeg throws a head kick but Stokes moves out of range.
Nutmeg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stokes gets a clinch. Nutmeg misses with a knee strike.
Nutmeg throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stokes blocks it with crossed arms. Stokes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stokes drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Stokes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nutmeg looking for a sweep. Not yet Nutmeg, not yet. Stokes controlling from the top position. Nutmeg throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nutmeg wants to clinch but Stokes slips to the side and Stokes counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Stokes controlling the action here. Stokes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nutmeg for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Stokes prevents Nutmeg from improving his position. Nutmeg is trying to maintain the position but Stokes is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Greg Stokes. Stokes avoids a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stokes dives in and scores a takedown into Nutmeg's guard. Nutmeg working a defensive guard here.
Stokes stands and steps away. Nutmeg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Stokes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nutmeg throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stokes blocks it with crossed arms. Stokes fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stokes tries to land knees in the clinch but Nutmeg avoids the damage to the body. Stokes breaks the clinch.
Nutmeg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nutmeg darts in trying to clinch and Stokes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stokes. Nutmeg tries to land a knee to the head but Stokes blocks with his arms.

Nutmeg looks gassed! Stokes turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stokes manages to end up in side control. Nutmeg pushes Stokes away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stokes gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Stokes works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Stokes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nutmeg has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Nutmeg manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Nutmeg trying to hold on to Stokes's head to control him but Stokes postures up.
Nutmeg wants to get back to full guard. Stokes trying to control the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stokes lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Stokes dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stokes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nutmeg tries to clinch and Stokes counters with a takedown into side control. Stokes stands up. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Stokes here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Nutmeg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nutmeg tries to clinch but Stokes moves away and Stokes counters by clinching up. Nutmeg misses with a knee strike.
Nutmeg throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stokes blocks it with crossed arms. Stokes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stokes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Stokes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nutmeg's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes stops Nutmeg from standing up. Stokes cracks Nutmeg with a solid left hand. Greg Stokes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stokes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nutmeg throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Nutmeg is breathing heavily. Nutmeg trying to control the position.
Stokes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nutmeg's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stokes trying to control the pace. Nutmeg moves into full guard.
Stokes wants to control from the top but Nutmeg keeps moving. Stokes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nutmeg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stokes defends it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nutmeg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stokes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stokes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stokes's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Nutmeg is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stokes tries to free his leg and advance position but Nutmeg is retaining full guard. Stokes passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stokes slows the pace down in half guard. Nutmeg gets back to full guard.
Stokes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nutmeg is keeping the position for now. Stokes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nutmeg is pushing Stokes's head away, looking to escape. Stokes manages to hold on to the position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Stokes dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Stokes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stokes lands in his opponent's guard. Stokes scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Nutmeg is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nutmeg wants to stand and escape but Stokes is having none of it. Nutmeg takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nutmeg looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Stokes is defending well. Nutmeg quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Stokes has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Nutmeg celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
