Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dude Duderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Marsh! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marsh wants to pass the guard but Duderson is keeping the position. Marsh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Marsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Duderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Marsh is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jay Marsh wasn't active enough on the ground. Marsh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Duderson's guard. Marsh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marsh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Marsh stops Duderson from standing up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jay Marsh. Duderson looks to land a body kick but Marsh moved away. Marsh dives in and scores a takedown into Duderson's guard. Marsh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Marsh's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Marsh scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Marsh is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. It looks like Marsh might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jay Marsh hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Marsh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duderson did well to prevent Marsh getting side control. Marsh with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Let's hope that Marsh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jay Marsh was stalling too much, according to the referee. An inside leg kick lands from Duderson. Marsh closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marsh lands in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marsh stays in close to Duderson's body and controls the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marsh passes into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marsh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marsh showed some decent athleticism there. Marsh is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Marsh landing strikes from the mount. Marsh controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duderson tries to buck Marsh off but he can't manage it. Marsh looking to control and managing it successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Duderson is in a horrible position here. Marsh smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh punishing his opponent with strikes. Marsh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Duderson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Duderson is being controlled here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jay Marsh has got the better of the ground game so far. Marsh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marsh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marsh controls the position from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Marsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Duderson wants to clinch and Marsh counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Duderson is defending against the submission attempts here by Marsh.
Well, if Marsh is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Marsh uses his free foot to push down on Duderson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Duderson. Duderson is trying desperately to improve position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Marsh controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Duderson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Marsh decides to pull guard. Marsh has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Duderson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Marsh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marsh has knee on belly and moves into mount. Duderson is trying to stand up. Jay Marsh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marsh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Marsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Marsh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
