The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinuri slips a jab and a cross from McDowell.
McDowell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McDowell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice body punch from Hinuri.
Hinuri scores with a head kick. McDowell tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
McDowell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hinuri. That's going to slow McDowell down.
McDowell misses with a hook.
McDowell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hinuri manages to avoid it.
Hinuri dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hinuri punishes McDowell's body with a nice straight punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hinuri scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McDowell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hinuri feints and as McDowell raises his hands in defense, Hinuri changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
McDowell is breathing heavily.
Hinuri sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McDowell's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hinuri content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Hinuri swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
