Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dim Mak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fat Boy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dim Mak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fat Boy! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mak is looking to clinch but Boy is avoiding it.
No joy there for Boy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mak is defended easily by Boy. Boy misses with a few strikes there.
Mak gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Mak missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mak is looking to take a break and control but Boy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mak is looking for a kimura but Boy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mak to get the leverage. Boy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mak works his way into side control. Boy tries to get back to half guard but can't. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sloppy strikes there by Mak. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy struggling a bit here. Boy tries to bench press Mak off him but Mak keeps the position. Mak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mak is working to tighten is grip on Boy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Boy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mak is really squeezing tight and eventually Boy passes out! Mak breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dim Mak!
