Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko tries for a takedown but Ryrik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ryrik throws a nice looking combination but Emelianenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Emelianenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ryrik gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Emelianenko manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ryrik manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emelianenko's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fedor Emelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fedor Emelianenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Emelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
