Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Terra!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terra lands a jab.
Terra tries to bum rush Dominic with a series of wild strikes but Dominic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Caio Terra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dominic shoots in for a takedown but Terra shows good takedown defense.
Terra throws a series of strikes that have Dominic backpedaling.
Dominic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dominic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Terra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dominic somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francois Dominic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Terra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dominic moves away.
Terra ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Dominic takes one to the side of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dominic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dominic there as he acknowledges the shot.

Terra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Terra is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Terra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dominic shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Terra but Terra pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Terra bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dominic's head.
Dominic slips a jab and a cross from Terra.
Dominic fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dominic shoots in looking for a takedown. Terra tries to sprawl out of it but Dominic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Terra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dominic closes the distance and clinches up with Terra, looking for a takedown. Dominic pushes Terra against the cage but Terra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Terra lands a nice looking body shot.
Dominic is breathing heavily.
No luck for Dominic with that takedown attempt.

Terra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Terra misses with a two punch combination.
Terra throws a nice looking combination but Dominic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Terra scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by Dominic or perhaps it was just good defense by Terra which made him look bad.
Dominic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Dominic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Terra lands a jab-cross combination.

Dominic dodges the punch combination from Terra.
Terra scores with a one two! Dominic had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Terra throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Terra stuns Dominic with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dominic walks into a left hand.
Dominic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dominic shoots in but Terra avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Terra connects with a crisp jab.
Terra lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Terra.
Dominic is rocked!
Terra throws a series of punches but Dominic avoids them all with ease.
Oh Dominic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Terra lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Terra feints with a jab and clips Dominic right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Dominic is sent crashing into the canvas and Terra leaps in for the kill! Dominic tries to get to his feet but Terra is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Dominic is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caio Terra!
