The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Jou.
BLaszczak moves out of range of the strikes.
A big right from Jou misses.
Jou misses with a low kick.
Oooh a lovely combination from Jou sends BLaszczak down but not out. Jou dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Damian BLaszczak has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
BLaszczak is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jou tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Jou is looking to take a break and control but BLaszczak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
BLaszczak parries the strikes from Jou easily there. Jou is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable BLaszczak to escape.
BLaszczak is looking to regain half guard here but Jou keeps moving and retains side control.
Jou working the ground and pound but BLaszczak is defending the strikes.
The strikes coming from Jou are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Jou lands a few punches from side control.
