Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rebel Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Oldsman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's entrance music is Players Ball by Outkast. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Oldsman's choice of entrance music: Brother Bones. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Buddy Oldsman enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rebel Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buddy Oldsman! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into Oldsman's guard. Johnson postures up in Oldsman's guard and throws a big left but Oldsman blocks it. Johnson controlling from the top position. Johnson looking to pass the guard. Johnson chips away with some ground and pound. Johnson wants to control from the top but Oldsman keeps moving. Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oldsman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oldsman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Johnson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Johnson postures up and lands a big shot to Oldsman's brow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Oldsman on his heels. He'll look to pass Oldsman's guard now, I'm sure. Johnson postures up in Oldsman's guard and throws a big left but Oldsman blocks it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Oldsman keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Oldsman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson pushing down on Oldsman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Johnson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Johnson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Oldsman is forced to tap! Great finish!
