Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson takes the fight into the clinch.
Maguire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nelson lands a really nice looking cross but Maguire seems unphased.
Maguire closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Maguire has had enough of the clinch but Nelson keeps him there for the moment.
Maguire wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Maguire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nelson gets caught napping as Maguire dives in and scores a takedown. Nelson manages to retain guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Nelson closes the distance and clinches up with Maguire, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes Maguire against the cage but Maguire circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Maguire throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nelson's waist but Nelson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maguire off to one side.
