Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Bertholf!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasaki tries to clinch up.
Bertholf lands with a straight right. Nagasaki didn't see that one coming.
Nagasaki looks to clinch

and Bertholf holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bertholf blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Bertholf has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bertholf keeps control of Nagasaki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bertholf manages to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bertholf wants to get back to his feet but Nagasaki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nagasaki is looking to work some ground and pound but Bertholf has wrist control.

Bertholf lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nagasaki!

Nagasaki is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Bertholf sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Arthur Bertholf has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bertholf circles away from the clinch attempt.

Nagasaki tries to clinch up but Bertholf circles away and keeps his distance.
Nagasaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bertholf manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nagasaki lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Bertholf lands the left hand.
Bertholf connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bertholf takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


Nagasaki is rocked!
Nagasaki walks straight into a right hand from Bertholf - that's dropped him! Bertholf jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nagasaki from any more punishment! Nagasaki complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Arthur Bertholf!
