Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hewitt paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Danga de danga de dang - Hewitt scores with a four punch combination!
Hewitt scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses.
Hewitt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Hewitt.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
Hewitt keeping hold of Gracie's head, controlling as best he can.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Hewitt is defending well.
Hewitt trying to control but Gracie postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gracie is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hewitt is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hewitt flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gracie anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hewitt and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gracie slips an arm under Hewitt chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gracie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gracie is squeezing on Hewitt like an anaconda would it's prey. Hewitt fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Royce Gracie!
