Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jax Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Kiss is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Morrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Kiss!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow connects with a looping right hand.

Kiss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Morrow is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kiss asserts his dominance and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Morrow's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kiss trying to control the action but Morrow is working from the bottom.
Morrow tries to buck Kiss off but Kiss is having none of it.

Kiss tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
What's Morrow going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Morrow tries to bench press Kiss off him but Kiss keeps the position.
Kiss is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Morrow will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kiss is trying to get an arm triangle but Morrow is defending well.
Morrow is letting Kiss control him for a moment.

Kiss trying to control the position but Morrow is working away.

Kiss tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kiss takes a little break here. Morrow wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Morrow is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kiss off and has taken his back!

Morrow is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Kiss is keen to just control but Morrow is a slippery customer.

Jax Morrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiss slips a jab and a cross from Morrow.

Kiss gets a takedown into half guard.
Kiss content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Kiss is working for a kimura but Morrow is defending it quite comfortably.

Kiss is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Kiss is trying to control. Morrow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kiss decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Kiss takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Morrow wants to clinch up but Kiss keeps it at a distance.

Kiss looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kiss is breathing heavily.
Morrow is looking to get back to is feet but Kiss passes into side control.
Kiss in side control lands a decent elbow.
Morrow is looking for a sweep.
Kiss moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kiss stands up.

Morrow fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Kiss dives in and scores a takedown into Morrow's guard.
Kiss passes into half guard.

Morrow is defending against the submission attempts here by Kiss.
Kiss wants to pass the guard but Morrow is defending well.

Kiss is working for a submission of some sort.
Kiss is trying to control the action in half guard but Morrow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kiss is trying to work for a kimura but Morrow is defending well.
Morrow tries to roll over but Kiss keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Kiss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Kiss doesn't manage to clinch there - Morrow circles away.
Morrow shoots in for a takedown but Kiss shows good takedown defense.
Morrow lands a jab to the head.

Kiss closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morrow did well to prevent Kiss getting side control.
Kiss wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morrow keeps working.
Morrow wants to control but Kiss is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kiss is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morrow is just riding it out for now. Kiss eventually gives up the hold.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kiss is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morrow defends it well.
Morrow pushes Kiss off looking to stand but Kiss dives back in and keeps control.
Well, if Kiss is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Morrow tries to roll over but Kiss keeps him under control.

Kiss is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kiss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Kiss is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Morrow looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kiss passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kiss sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Morrow is squirming around, avoiding Kiss's attempts to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A nice elbow there by Kiss.

Kiss has hold of Morrow's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Morrow manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kiss content just to control the position here.
Jax Morrow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Peter Kiss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kiss winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
