Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sultan Conture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Elephant Man - Haters (feat Hunt & Jim Jones) . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hammer Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sultan Conture!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conture shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A head kick misses from Mack.
Conture cracks Mack with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Conture changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mack tries to avoid it but Conture manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mack to the ground. Mack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mack stuffs the takedown.
Hammer Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sultan Conture.
Mack throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Conture counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mack wants to control but Conture postures up.
Conture tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Conture has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Conture is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mack has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Mack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mack is pushing Conture's head away, looking to escape. Conture manages to hold on to the position though.

Mack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Conture on the ground.
Conture has an Americana. Mack didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Conture is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Conture hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sultan Conture!
