The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diehl looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Diehl trying to control but Saito is working from the bottom.
Diehl knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saito on the ground.
Saito manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Diehl bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Saito bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diehl's guard.
Saito slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Saito passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Diehl!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saito pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Saito wants to take Diehl's back here but Diehl is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Saito avoids the attempt from Diehl to control.
Saito works his way to his opponent's back.

Saito working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Diehl is doing well to defend. Saito seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Diehl is forced to tap and this one is over!
