The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy with a lazy takedown attempt
and Drummond counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Boy fails with the takedown
and Drummond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boy misses with a takedown
and Drummond counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rosco Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Drummond counters with a two punch combo.
Boy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Arnold Drummond is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Drummond lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Drummond counters with a nice uppercut.
Boy tries for a takedown but Drummond circles away easily
and Drummond counters with a nice leg kick.
Drummond throws a nice outside leg kick.
Boy dives in and scores a takedown into Drummond's guard.
Drummond wants to stand up but Boy is controlling him.
Drummond wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Drummond is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Boy is pushing down on Drummond's leg trying to pass to half guard. Drummond is fighting to maintain full guard but Boy has managed to sneak the leg through.
Drummond is looking to improve his position.
Drummond pushes Boy off looking to stand but Boy dives back in and keeps control.
Boy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Drummond defend it? Boy steps over the head and cranks it - Drummond is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boy!
